If you access the Application from outside the United States, you do so entirely at your own risk and bear sole responsibility for compliance with all local laws. We reserve the right to immediately block or terminate access for any user we determine to be outside the United States, without notice or liability.

3. No Affiliation with Quickbase, Inc.

QB FLOW IS FULLY INDEPENDENT OF AND HAS ABSOLUTELY NO AFFILIATION WITH QUICKBASE, INC. IN ANY WAY. Specifically and without limitation:

  • QB Flow is not developed, operated, endorsed, sponsored, approved, certified, or authorized by Quickbase, Inc.;
  • Quickbase® is a registered trademark of Quickbase, Inc. Its use in this Application is solely to identify the third-party platform for which code output is formatted, and implies no affiliation, partnership, licensing, or endorsement of any kind;
  • Quickbase, Inc. has not reviewed, approved, certified, or tested any code, feature, output, or functionality produced by QB Flow;
  • We are not an official partner, authorized reseller, authorized integration provider, or agent of Quickbase, Inc.;
  • Any reference to Quickbase® APIs, features, or platform behavior is made solely for descriptive interoperability purposes and may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete;

Users must independently verify all generated code against Quickbase, Inc.’s official documentation. We are not responsible for any changes Quickbase, Inc. makes to its platform that affect the compatibility or functionality of generated code.

4. Description of the Application

QB Flow is a code page generator that produces code pages, scripts, formulas, field configurations, and related technical output intended for use within the Quickbase® platform.

4.1 Deterministic Generator Technology

QB Flow operates primarily through deterministic, rule-based code generation algorithms. Unlike AI-based systems, deterministic generators follow fixed programmatic rules to produce output. This means:

  • Output is produced by algorithms, templates, and rule sets — not by machine learning models or neural networks;
  • The Operator makes no representation that the deterministic logic is current, complete, or compatible with any version of the Quickbase® platform;
  • Algorithmic rules may be outdated, may not account for edge cases, and may produce output that does not function as expected;
  • The absence of AI does not imply that output is correct, secure, or fit for any purpose;
  • Where AI or machine-learning components are optionally used, they are subject to the same disclaimers and limitations set forth in these Terms.

4.2 Purpose of Quickbase Token Access

QB Flow may request access to your Quickbase® user token solely to retrieve application schema data (such as field names, field types, table structure, and application metadata) for the limited purpose of informing and generating code output relevant to your specific Quickbase® application. Specifically:

  • Token access is used exclusively to read application structural data necessary to generate contextually accurate code;
  • Tokens are never used to write, modify, delete, or otherwise alter any data within your Quickbase® application;
  • Tokens are never used to access, read, or retrieve any business data, records, or user data stored within your Quickbase® application;
  • Token access is limited in scope to the minimum permissions required to provide the code generation functionality;
  • We do not use token access for analytics, advertising, data mining, or any purpose unrelated to generating your requested code output.

4.3 Quickbase Token Storage Policy

BY DEFAULT, QB FLOW DOES NOT STORE YOUR QUICKBASE® USER TOKEN. Tokens are used in-session only and are not retained after your session ends unless you have explicitly opted in.

Token storage is entirely optional and requires your affirmative, explicit consent:

  • Tokens are stored on QB Flow servers only if you affirmatively check the designated “Save my token” (or equivalent) checkbox presented within the Application interface;
  • Checking this box constitutes your explicit, informed consent to store your token on QB Flow’s servers in encrypted form;
  • If you do not check this box, your token is held only in your active session and is purged upon session termination;
  • Stored tokens may be deleted by you at any time through the Application’s account settings;
  • Even if you opt in to token storage, you may revoke QB Flow’s access at any time by deleting your stored token and/or revoking the token directly within the Quickbase® platform.

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SECURITY OF YOUR QUICKBASE® USER TOKEN. We are not responsible for any unauthorized access to your Quickbase® application that results from your token being compromised, shared, or misused, whether or not you opted in to token storage on QB Flow. You should treat your user token with the same level of care as a password.

5. Eligibility

To use QB Flow you must: (a) be at least 18 years of age; (b) be a U.S. resident; (c) have legal capacity to enter a binding contract under applicable U.S. law; (d) not be barred from receiving services under U.S. law; and (e) agree to these Terms in full. If you use QB Flow on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

6. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct

You are solely responsible for all inputs you submit and all outputs you choose to use, copy, deploy, or distribute. You agree not to use QB Flow to:

  • Generate code intended to cause unauthorized access, data manipulation, or disruption to any system;
  • Circumvent security controls or access controls within any platform, including Quickbase®;
  • Submit false, misleading, harmful, or malicious inputs;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or attack the QB Flow application itself;
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy content from QB Flow;
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute QB Flow without written authorization;
  • Share, distribute, or disclose your Quickbase® token through QB Flow in any way not contemplated by these Terms;
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.

7. Use Entirely at Your Own Risk

YOUR USE OF QB FLOW, AND ANY USE OF CODE OR OTHER OUTPUT GENERATED BY QB FLOW, IS UNDERTAKEN ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE OPERATOR BEARS NO RESPONSIBILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY CONSEQUENCE OF YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION OR ITS OUTPUT.

Without limiting the foregoing, we strongly urge that all generated output be:

  • Reviewed by a qualified software developer before any use;
  • Tested in an isolated, non-production sandbox environment before deployment;
  • Independently audited for security vulnerabilities;
  • Verified against current Quickbase® official documentation;
  • Backed up — ensure full backups of all relevant systems exist before any deployment.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE PRECAUTIONS IS ENTIRELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. The Operator will not be liable for any consequence arising from your deployment of QB Flow output in any environment, under any circumstances.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 QB Flow IP. QB Flow, including its interface, generator logic, rule sets, templates, and underlying technology, is owned by the Operator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8.2 Generated Output. Subject to compliance with these Terms, you retain ownership of output generated from your own unique inputs. We make no warranty that generated output is original, novel, or free from third-party intellectual property claims. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of generated output does not infringe any third-party rights.

8.3 User Inputs and Token Data. By submitting inputs or providing token access, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process that data solely to provide the Service. We claim no ownership of your inputs or application data.

8.4 Third-Party Marks. Quickbase® and related trademarks are the exclusive property of Quickbase, Inc. We claim no rights in those marks.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, QB FLOW AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITH NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

  • ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT;
  • ANY WARRANTY THAT QB FLOW WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, ERROR, OR SECURITY VULNERABILITY;
  • ANY WARRANTY THAT GENERATED OUTPUT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR FIT FOR ANY PURPOSE;
  • ANY WARRANTY THAT GENERATED OUTPUT WILL FUNCTION CORRECTLY WITH THE QUICKBASE® PLATFORM OR ANY OTHER SYSTEM OR VERSION THEREOF;
  • ANY WARRANTY THAT THE DETERMINISTIC GENERATION LOGIC IS CURRENT WITH QUICKBASE®’S LATEST API OR PLATFORM SPECIFICATIONS;
  • ANY WARRANTY THAT TOKEN HANDLING MEETS THE SECURITY REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR ORGANIZATION OR ANY APPLICABLE STANDARD;
  • ANY WARRANTY THAT THE APPLICATION IS FREE FROM DEFECTS, VIRUSES, OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

THE OPERATOR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain implied warranties; in those jurisdictions, such exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

10.1 NO CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATOR, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION: LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE; LOSS, CORRUPTION, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO DATA; BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES; OR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM DEPLOYMENT OR RELIANCE UPON QB FLOW OUTPUT — WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR STRICT LIABILITY), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10.2 NO LIABILITY FOR TOKEN MISUSE. THE OPERATOR SHALL HAVE ZERO LIABILITY FOR ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR QUICKBASE® APPLICATION, DATA BREACH, DATA LOSS, OR ANY OTHER HARM ARISING FROM THE COMPROMISE, MISUSE, THEFT, OR UNAUTHORIZED DISCLOSURE OF YOUR QUICKBASE® USER TOKEN, WHETHER OR NOT YOU OPTED IN TO TOKEN STORAGE ON QB FLOW.

10.3 NO LIABILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM CHANGES. THE OPERATOR SHALL HAVE ZERO LIABILITY FOR ANY FAILURE OF GENERATED CODE TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY DUE TO CHANGES, UPDATES, DEPRECATIONS, OR MODIFICATIONS MADE BY QUICKBASE, INC. TO ITS PLATFORM, APIS, OR FUNCTIONALITY.

10.4 AGGREGATE CAP. THE OPERATOR’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR QB FLOW SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (B) FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00 USD).

10.5 ESSENTIAL BASIS. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY IN THIS SECTION ARE AN ESSENTIAL ELEMENT OF THE BASIS OF THE BARGAIN BETWEEN YOU AND THE OPERATOR, AND THAT THE OPERATOR WOULD NOT PROVIDE QB FLOW WITHOUT THEM.

YOU ACCEPT THAT THE ENTIRE RISK OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, ACCURACY, AND EFFORT IS WITH YOU.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected breach of these Terms. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you cease immediately. Sections 3, 7, 9, 10, 11, and Parts II and III survive termination indefinitely.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the United States and the state of the Operator’s domicile, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or QB Flow shall be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in the Operator’s state of domicile, conducted in English.

CLASS AND COLLECTIVE ACTION WAIVER: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING AGAINST THE OPERATOR. ALL CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY.

Either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction solely to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration. The arbitrator’s award shall be final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

14. Miscellaneous

Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and all remaining provisions shall continue in full force.

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Indemnification Agreement (Part II) and Privacy Policy (Part III), constitute the entire agreement between you and the Operator regarding QB Flow, and supersede all prior understandings.

No Waiver. Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of future enforcement of that or any other provision.

No Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent. The Operator may assign freely.

Force Majeure. The Operator is not liable for any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, internet outages, platform changes by Quickbase, Inc., or governmental actions.
